I like this app and it’s really cool besides getting a bunch of emails but there’s something horrible wrong with this app that needs to be fixed. So when I get a notification it’ll leave a number on the app on how many notifications I got! So when I get on the app on the top right corner it has a bell. So I go to press it and look at my notifications which it shows me when I press the bell and to be honest it usually happens when I get a job match or a haven’t heard back yet. And it’s highlighted in blue on what I haven’t seen yet. So I press it and the job comes up then I disregard it if I don’t like it or I’ll fill out an application if I like it. But here’s the problem and what needs to be fixed. Once I’m done looking at the job I press the home button in the right corner or press the arrow on the left corner and it takes me back home. But I’ll still have a red dot on the bell so I’ll have to go back in look at the job and then go back home? But it still doesn’t get rid of the number on my apps nor does the red dot go away in the bell so I’ll have to keep going in and going home going in the bell looking at the notification then press the home button and it still doesn’t go away it takes forever to disappear and honestly it’s annoying please fix it. Once it’s read it should disappear but it doesn’t! I even have to do this process multiple times and still a red dot on my bell and a number on may app then after 10+ times or more it finally goes away please fix this issue and thanks
Why does Mc donalds post hiring ads but don’t hire in Bakersfield CA??!!??
ToHellWithLetgo
I’ve had this app for about almost 2 years now and out of thoes 2 years I’ve filled out over 100 applications literally because out here in Bakersfield CA. If your not working your not living period! Out of all thoes applications I was only hired once by a ranky danky medical marijuana dispensary which the job only lasted 4 months. Now I’m updating my review because as of right now Mc donalds is so called hiring big time right now. I filled out an application for every branch in the city, I finally get a interview at the restaurant on 19th and union ave, this was July 18th,2019 and I was told that the general manager (liliana) which was standing right at the counter and sent a team leader to give me the interview was going on a 3 week vacation and to follow up on my interview then. Today’s August 8th, 2019 (more than 3 weeks later) and when I try to call, at first I was told this Monday that liliana wasn’t there until 3:00..I called at 3pm sharp with no answer of the phone after numerous attempts, that was Monday, and Tuesday & Wednesday the restaurants phone stayed on busy tone the whole day. Today’s Thursday and when I get on indeed This morning a brand new post from the same restaurant for the same position that I applied for weeks ago are hiring for the same position. Why are they posting ads still when they haven’t even got back in touch with the interviewees that were interviewed with me. I’ve contacted Mc donalds corporate and more in regards to this.
Great app, just hard to actually find a job.

I’ve had the indeed app for probably over a year now and in my full, honest opinion I believe the app is great, helps you see all work around the area, but most of the job postings are low wage, high labor work. Even if you do have experience in a field you’re looking for work in the employers still only want the best quality candidates and this leaves no room for young people with not much or little work history. You’ll be constantly hoping to hear from a position you applied for whilst also applying for other jobs that you will never hear back from because a lot of the postings are not updated to let you know the position was taken. It almost seems like Indeed wants you to create a new work history through them to attain a better/higher paying job, So previous work history almost seems like it doesn’t matter. Employers say (preferred) but not require and then solely will deny you a job because you’re under-qualified. And then I’ve gotten job offers for things I’ve had 0 experience in and the only reason they will accept you is to pay you little to nothing because you have no experience. It’s all a long shot unless you live in a highly populated area where you can get a job on any city street or corner. As I said, the app is well designed and is a tremendously great idea. But if you are too young, or not much work history, or just plainly aren’t a perfect candidate then you may as well go apply at your local Walmart or gas station. 5/10
Hit or miss

Indeed has been good to me for so many years, even before an app was available when needing a job. However the last few years Indeed has lost some of that steam. Don’t get me wrong it’s still great but as I mentioned the last few years it’s been lacking that steam. For example, I’ve submitted my resume to multiple companies and I get the email that “the employer has moved on” message. One day I was curious so I went to the website directly and submitted my resume and I got a call back within a day. During the interview I mentioned to them that I submitted my resume through indeed and the email I got after about a week was you found another candidate. They told me that indeed pulls the job description a lot of times but they tend to look at emails from their site first before indeed and when they hire someone they remove the posting, thus you get the email probably from indeed. Since I’m not HR I can only go by what they told me but that could vary depending on employer and how big or small the company is. Indeed is good for resume building and the ability to save it in pdf and print it out if need be so that’s a huge plus. I really enjoy indeed and I won’t leave it, but for more bigger companies I would recommend just taking the time to submit your application on the job site. I know some people don’t have easy access to computers to do that and indeed is a great alternative for those that don’t have a computer or fancy smart phone. I would recommend if you see a bigger company listing on indeed, instead of applying through indeed if you can, just go to the company website. It will go to their Corp HR oppose to possibly getting lost in a flood of emails to the local HR.
Bug fixes and various improvements!
